ALERTS
Alerts can be created from the smartphone or tablet interface. This allows a photo to be taken and attached automatically to the notification or uploaded from existing photos on your devices.
Alerts on a Smartphone

| 1. To add a photo click on Upload a File and choose the camera button, take a photo and click OK. This will take few seconds to upload and can be repeated for a maximum of 4 photos. Add details for the alert. This alert will now be visible from the Job Book/Alerts screen. | 2. Details can also be added directly to an image. | 3. On the far right of the search box is a button that allows for searching all alerts created for a particular job number. Clicking on one of these will load the alert to edit. This may be used to correct details or look to view an image. |
Alerts on Touchscreen & Tablet Interfaces
Touchscreen Interface
Alerts from the touchscreen interface is a method for factory users to create and record alerts.
- Select the ‘Alerts’ menu on the touchscreen as shown.
- Fill in all required fields which include Staff Pin, Job Number or Work Order Number, select the type of alert and the due date. Add details.
- Upload an image either from a file located on the device, image library or by using the devices camera and taking a picture.
- Once all details for the alert are entered, click
A window will pop up confirming the alert has saved successfully to the job. Date & time stamped alert records show in the ‘Alerts Details Pane’ on the bottom left of the screen. Each alert record created will show the Alert Type, Alerts Status, date and time and the person that created the alert.
Tablet Interface
Using the alerts under the tablet interface provides users with more functionality compared with the touchscreen that can only create and record alerts.
With the tablet interface users will be able to record and create alerts, view alert listings and statuses, edit and email alerts to relevant staff members to action the Alert.
