DISPATCH & DELIVERY

The Dispatch and Delivery menus within the touchscreen interface perform very similar functionality in that they easily allow factory users to create records specific to Product Dispatch and Product Delivery under each Job.

Dispatch Menu

The Dispatch functionality allows factory users to record and document pallets of product that are ready to be dispatched and designate them into the warehouses set up in Jobman. 
All records here are date and time stamped and the member of staff that creates the record is also recorded.

For users to create a dispatch record the following steps should take place:

  1. Select the ‘Dispatch’ Menu on the touchscreen as shown.
  2. Fill all required fields to create a Dispatch record, these include, Staff Pin, Job Number or Work Order Number, Number of Pallets Packed and ready for dispatch and a selection of the Warehouses set up in Jobman.
  3. Click ‘Save’ to create the dispatch record.

Once the dispatch record is saved, the details of the record will display in the ‘Dispatch Details Pane’ as shown below. This will also update and display the amount of pallets recorded in the ‘Warehouse’ or Dispatch area. This live value is displayed in the ‘Warehouses Pane’.

  NOTE:  If pallet values need to be altered or changed . Simply enter you Staff Pin, Job Number and Alter the number of pallets to the record. This will not create a new record, it will update the existing record and will date and time stamp when the record was altered. 

These dispatch records saved by factory staff can be viewed and accessed by users by selecting the ‘Warehouse’ Tab in any Job as shown below. Users can double click into the record to edit, review the details and add notes to the dispatch records.

A useful efficiency tool to find out where product is located in the warehouses within your company. It also provides insight to relevant users of the value of product stored in the warehouse that is ready to get sent out.

Delivery Menu 

The Delivery functionality allows factory users or truck drivers to record and document all pallets of product that have been delivered to site or a specific location.
All records here are date and time stamped and the member of staff that creates the record is also recorded.

For users to create a delivery record the following steps should take place:

  1. Select the ‘Delivery’ Menu on the tablet screen as shown.
  2. Fill all required fields to create a Delivery record, these include, Staff Pin, Job Number, Selection of the Delivery Driver and the Number of Pallets delivered.
  3. Click ‘Save’  to create the delivery record.
 
 
Once the Delivery record is saved, the details of the record will display in the ‘Delivery Details Pane’ as shown below.
 
 
These delivery records saved by factory staff and delivery drivers can be viewed and accessed by users by selecting the ‘Deliveries’ Tab in any Job as shown below. Users can double click into the record to edit, review the details and add notes to the delivery records.
 
 
 
 
This functionality provides a fully documented record of when a specific number of pallets had been delivered by a particular person that is specific to each job. Deliveries also provides insight to relevant users of the value of product delivered for a particular job.
