Once you have set up your lead statuses and your lead operations, you will need to set target lead times. The purpose of Lead Target Lead Time is to automatically populate the checklist target dates for Leads to occur by.
Setting up Lead Target Lead Times is a relatively simple process. The aim here is to make sure the Lead does not go cold and they are not left wondering when they are going to hear from you again. So think about your sales process and how you would like your leads to be processed. The scope here is to make sure the system is reminding you about how many days each mile stone should take. It will save time if all your Lead Status and Lead Operations are completed before setting up Jobs.
As you add each record, work through the Lead Operations Type in order so that you don’t miss any and the ID is in order. Remember leave the Lead type blank if you want to apply the Lead Operation Type to all Lead Types. Repeat for all records until all Lead Operations are accounted for with a Lead Time.
Note: Day allowance does not include weekends or public holidays in the total count time.
Work through the Lead Operation Types in sequential order applying the appropriate Lead Type.
If the Target Lead Time applies to all Lead Types then do not select any.
