LEAD TYPE

Lead Types can be found under Admin>Sales.

Defining Lead Types is much the same as Job Types. Defining the type of lead will determine the flow that the lead should follow based on your businesses sales process. This allows different lead times for different types of sales and will allow the use of different automatic email triggers so that Jobman goes to work for you. Some examples of Lead types are Commercial, Builder, and Residential. You can also implement processes for the same same Lead Type but differentiate between them based on volume e.g. Builder Small, Builder Medium, or Builder Large.

You may have different Lead Types or quantities to Job Types and when a Lead automatically turns into a Job the type needs to be set. To make this happen by default, first you must have your Job Types established. Then you can assign what type of Lead will turn into a Job Type.

To edit a Lead Type double-click anywhere in the required type row to show the edit form.
