STAFF TYPE

Categorize your Staff by Types. Determine what categories of Staff you have. 
Eg; Accounts, Drafter, Management, Fabricator, Truck Driver, Tradesperson, Trades Assistant. Add as necessary.

Some “Staff Type” names (for example, Installer) have restrictions and privileges and therefore their names should not be changed.

Note; Multiple Staff Types can be selected on the one person to gain or restrict privileges.

  • Sales = Can only see Sales related items such as Leads, Lead Bar Chart and Invoices and will allow for population of the Salesperson for a Lead.
  • Installer = Will allow for selection in a Job to assign Installer.
  • Project Manager = Will allow for selection in a Job to assign a Project Manager
  • Payroll = Only these people can see payroll information, i.e. pay rates. When we develop your Jobman site we will ask you who needs this staff type.

It is important to make sure you assign the Staff Type Project Manager and Installer to the appropriate staff as these fields link to multiple areas within Jobman to be used for selection and as a filter. As shown below, you will be able to select a Project Manager and an Installer for the Job in the Job Details. This will then be shown on your Target Map and Target Calendar where you can also use them as a filter.
