Whether it’s pricing for doors, cabinets or any item that changes in two dimensions, be it by height, width or depth, Matrices reduce library development while offering further pricing development in areas not normally considered applicable with Jobman’s axis settings.
To achieve this first setup your Matrix axis for Width, Height and Depth if required for items that might only change in height and depth like End Panels. These can be used in combination with each other. This step is required before exporting and populating with Excel.
Then add a record and give it a name. This can then be populated within Jobman or exported to Excel where it can be populated from existing matrix tables.
Repeat this process for all applicable Products. Products now have options for Matrix and Unit pricing.
This can now be reflected in quotes when you select Product and start typing for the item it will populate and changing the Height and Width will reflect the correct door price from the selected matrix that door was set up with.
