OPERATION TYPE ID & DELIVERY DATE

Your ‘Delivery Date’ field in the job details pane can be set to a particular operation’s target date and this can be automatically populated each time without having to manually enter specific benchmark dates into the system. 

This user preference is controlled by the config variable :

OPERATIONTYPEID_JOBDELIVERY.

To access this variable navigate to Admin >Extra>Config. Here you can make use of the search toolbar- located to the bottom right of the screen and search for ‘OPERATION TYPE’ 

You will notice the variable appear from the search.

This config variable allows users to select and assign a particular operation within the Job checklist. It will then fulfill the function of automatically populating and displaying the selected benchmark date in the ‘Delivery Date’ field located the Job Details pane of the Job menu as shown below.

To find a particular operation ID navigate to Admin >Production>Operation Type. Ensure the ID column is displayed and make a note of the specific ID attached to the operation that you would like to select.

In this example we will be selecting the operation Dispatch with the ID Number 5.

Enter this ID Number into the OPERATIONTYPEID_JOBDELIVERY config as shown below.

Once this setting is configured the Delivery Date field automatically populates specific to each job. The date displayed is non editable and directly correlates to the target date associated with the selected operation .
